Hi everyone! My name is Darcy and I am the Queer Officer for 2024! 

As a proud queer individual, I promise to advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion. Creating a welcoming university environment is crucial for fostering a positive experience for all students. I am committed to supporting my peers and amplifying marginalised voices to ensure everyone feels valued and respected. I strive to be a visible ally for underrepresented communities. Whether it’s through organising events, advocating for policy changes, or simply lending an ear to those in need, I am dedicated to fostering a sense of belonging for all students.
