Hi, everyone! My name is Somavattey. I know my name is very very long and I get that a lot! So you can just call me Soma! I’m a 3rd year student in Bachelor of Nursing and Midwifery.

I spend most of my time catching up with my friends to compensate for all the plans I missed during my placement. But I also make sure to have a day off to go on a date with myself as a self-care day doing various things such as café-hopping around Melbourne and going to the beach!

Going through the pandemic these past years and having to come back to campus can be a huge change for some of us in regards to communicating and making new friends, so I hope that I would be able to help you along the way.

I am very excited to be a part of MONSU in 2023 as a welfare officer and am looking forward to work alongside my co-officer, Anne. I can’t wait to meet you guys on campus.
