Hello, Peninsula! I'm Mary and I will be the Clubs & Societies for 2026!! I joined MONSU because I wanted to continue helping out with events catering to our Peninsula students, and specifically within C&S to encourage student engagement in clubs present on our campus to cultivate fun, everlasting uni memories and creating opportunities for students to bond and make new friends!
I quite like trying new things, which started from volunteering for MONSU in my first year, which then gave me opportunities to be C&S Officer for 2025, and again this year! Being open to new experiences is valuable to me as I'd like to be able to make the most of my uni journey, and through MONSU, hopefully be able to help other students in having a great uni experience as well. Some hobbies I like to partake in are baking, reading, singing, and watching anime.
For this year, I want to be able to help form new clubs on our campus for additional diversity and encourage new and old students alike to participate in club activities, either as club committee members to plan new events, or take part in clubs events overall! Make sure to follow @monsu_peninsula_clubs on Insta if you wanna follow along with some events and clubs updates throughout the year. Let's work together to make a great year for club activities and fun events!!
