Mary is well recognised by her peers for her deep connection to the student community on the Monash Peninsula campus. Beginning her career at MONSU Peninsula in 2024 as a volunteer, she quickly developed a reputation for her energy, warmth, and genuine desire to uplift those around her. Taking on dual roles in 2025 as SOOT President and MONSU Clubs and Societies officer, she has continued to showcase her unwavering commitment to student life, and established herself as a student leader driven by empathy, respect, and a positive attitude she brings to every challenge. Mary Duong has made a meaningful and lasting impact on our student community.
